Harvey Weinstein just got another lifetime ban handed down to him — this time it’s the TV Academy who’s saying he’s persona non grata … for the rest of his days.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences held a hearing Monday and its governing board voted to expel Weinstein from the Academy for life. His former company, The Weinstein Co., has produced a number of TV shows over the years — most notably, perhaps, being “Project Runway.”

In a statement, the Academy says it supports those women speaking out against Weinstein. They go on to say they’re horrified by the widespread claims of sexual misconduct in the biz and are conducting a review of their membership codes of conduct.

The Academy finishes by saying … “We are determined to play a role in protecting all television professionals from predatory harassment, ensuring they are able to practice their craft in a safe environment.” 

Weinstein has already been banned from the Producers Guild of America, and is under investigation by a handful of law enforcement agencies.

“Sharknado” is big business and its producers aren’t about to let some theater company bite their style … so they’re suing to shut down a stage version before its first run swim.

The Asylum Co. just filed suit against Theatre Row Studios and several other people for allegedly attempting to put on a staged reading/rendition of the instant cult classic TV movie series. Asylum says the stage folks are promoting their version as “Shark-nado” … and planned to perform it in Southern Cali.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Asylum says Theatre Row’s take is a straight ripoff which could hurt the real McCoy’s bottom line if the court doesn’t shut it down, stat.

The stage company isn’t promoting the play right now on its website, but Asylum says the damage has been done with previous ads … to the tune of $10 million.

We reached out to Theatre Row … so far, no word back.

Porsha Williams is out one gun, and a few expensive handbags, after someone broke into her SUV and jacked her stuff … TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star tell us Porsha left her Range Rover in a garage at her assistant’s home last week in the Buckhead section of ATL. An eyewitness says a man wearing a mask smashed a back window to get into the vehicle.

We’ve confirmed police took a report and are investigating.

The good news for Porsha is she hasn’t been left unarmed — we’re told she has a 2nd handgun. Also, it looks like the suspect didn’t get everything of value out of her whip.

Tony Gonzalez says Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of making it back to the NFL — not this season, and not ever.

Richard Simmons just got the tab for the National Enquirer lawsuit — which he lost — and it could set him back well over $200,000 … TMZ has learned.

National Enquirer, and its parent company American Media, just filed docs detailing how much their attorneys charged for the defamation case, and they say the grand total exceeds $221,888 … as of October 29. 

You’ll recall, Richard sued the tabloid, claiming it defamed him with a story saying he was transitioning to becoming a woman. When the court ruled in favor of the Enquirer … Richard was ordered to pay their attorney’s fees.

The highest bill for one lawyer was just under $50k for services rendered over 95 hours. The lowest tab was $600 to a paralegal who put in 2 hours of work. Not too shabby. 

Of course, he also has to pay HIS attorneys. We broke the story, Richard plans to appeal … which will cost him even more dough.

Dennis Rodman is making a plea to POTUS on the eve of his trip to South Korea — asking him to make peace with his North Korean bro, Kim Jong-un, as tensions rise over nuclear warfare.

“Donald Trump, please, help us,” Rodman said to TMZ Sports in Newport Beach. “You always say, ‘unite.’ I’m all about that.”

Dennis told us he trusts Trump … but feels like he’s gotta be involved for his former “Celebrity Apprentice” boss to break bread with the supreme leader.
